my next project will be a marshall plexi. I also can do the twin reverb quite well. it really is able to do a clean raw convincing vox sound at just breakup.so good that I almost left off the verb. I like to play beatles and petty and stuff like that so this pedal fits that need. I lost all my stuff in a flood all most two years ago and am slowly carefully buying stuff back that I think I need. I spent a lot of time researching pedals in the 200.00 dollar range because I was missing the vox and marshall sounds in my setup.I have other pedals a boss me-50 and a line6 pedal and this really blows those away in what it does.I have had a bunch of pdeals and amps in my 40 years of playing so when I say its a good one I mostly know what Im talking about. I just wanted to expand on this review after spending several days more with the vox. I put it through a 68 custom deluxe reverb and a boss katana and they both sounded good. i would just set it up with a clean followed by an overdrive 1 and 2 3 and 4 like that but I really have not spent enough time to figure it out. I would use this live and that can be done if set right.
having said that this one has decent effects they all sound good enough to me. Im not much for effects but wanted a processor for the amps. it don't need reverb or delay to sound good at what it does. in on setting it up after watching a bunch of vids on the older and bigger ex model.
